Colorado College has welcomed Kent State University School of Art M.F.A. alumni, John Fifield-Perez for their inaugural Visiting Artist series as part of the Fiber Fellowship program. The Fiber Fellowship is a collaboration between Art and Crafts and the Art Department. These departments support the visiting artists to join Colorado College every semester. The artist will spend time on campus and create new work to be exhibited and shared with the program. Additionally, the artist teaches a block of classes in fiber and creates co-curricular workshops for Arts and Crafts. The goal of this partnership is to build connections with other artists and the Colorado College community.
