An audience of 870 Kent State students, faculty, staff and families packed the Kent Student Center Ballroom to enjoy the culinary creations of six international cooking teams in this year's International Cook-Off Competition.

As an extension of the Fashion School at Kent State University, the NYC Studio provides full-semester academic programs for fashion students during the fall, spring or summer terms.

The new space is designed for veteran students to gather between classes and talk or study together, or to provide each other with support.

Kent State University President Beverly Warren again pledged $25,000 to support Kent State on Nov. 29, which is Giving Tuesday.
