“The Art of Adaptation: Passion and Innovation in Running a Creative Business”

The Spring 2025 Michael D. Solomon Entrepreneurship Speaker Series will feature Steve Giralt, founder of media production company The Garage, at Kent State’s Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship February 25-26. Both presentations will be held in the James R. Unger Global Forum (Room 330) in Crawford Hall.

Giralt is a photographer turned videographer who merged his love of robotics to create The Garage, a technologically driven, international visual innovation production company with offices in the U.S. and Mexico. The company works with numerous Fortune 100 companies and leading advertising firms to produce commercials and other media for their clients’ marketing efforts.

This event is geared toward those with an interest in marketing, advertising and entrepreneurship. A reception will follow in the Crawford Hall Donald S. and Johnna F. Grant Atrium.

The Michael D. Solomon Entrepreneurship Speaker Series brings experienced entrepreneurs and educators to campus each semester to share professional insights and wisdom with students and community members. This endowed program is supported by the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship alumnus.
