Join us during Kent State Homecoming weekend for the RecWell Reunion 2024. Help us commemorate 25 years with a celebration of the collective impact we've had on the lives of those we serve.
The Department of Africana Studies and the Center of Pan-African Culture are proud to present, "Word Sounds and Power," a soul-stirring evening of Jazz and Performance Poetry featuring Vince Robinson and the Jazz Poets with special guest, KSU's own Mwatabu S. Okantah.
We are excited to welcome alumni back to Kent for one of our biggest blue and gold celebrations. Bring your family and friends home for a weekend of reminiscing, excitement and Golden Flash pride as Kent State Football takes on the Eastern Michigan Eagles Saturday, Sept. 28.
Join the University Bands Alumni Chapter for their annual performances with the Kent State Marching Golden Flashes at the Homecoming Parade and football game halftime show!
The Lake County Alumni Chapter and Greater Cleveland Alumni Chapter will host a tailgate party together before the Homecoming game! Starting at 9 a.m. and continuing until game time, enjoy food, beverages and great company.
Enjoy coffee and breakfast snacks while watching the Homecoming Parade march down Main Street. This event will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person
The newest and largest academic building at Kent State, Crawford Hall, is now open to students and open on Saturday for alumni and community tours. This 150,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility was made possible by the largest philanthropic gift in university history.
Celebrate Kent State at the Homecoming Parade. It begins on the corner of Midway Drive and Main Street and travels west on Main Street into Downtown Kent.
Can’t make it to campus? Enjoy a live stream of the parade! The Homecoming Parade features floats, Kent State University and local high school marching bands, university colleges and departments, Kent State cheerleaders and student-athletes, community organizations, local officials and more!
Join the Black Alumni Chapter for a tailgate before the Golden Flashes take on the Eastern Michigan University Eagles in the Homecoming game. The chapter will begin their festivities at 11 a.m. Stop by to meet up with old friends and connect with new alumni!
