Serhiy Polyakov, Ph.D., joins the School of Library and Information Science as its post-doctoral research fellow and fills the first post-doctoral position for the College of Communication and Information. From replacing windows and roofs, to restoring stone facades, Kent State University gave College Planning & Management magazine a tour of campus and all of its new construction and renovation projects. The tour included the university鈥檚 Tri-Towers student residence halls where new windows and exterior metal panels were installed. The Beta Nu Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma at Kent State University at Salem received three awards during the recent GIS International Conference in Chicago. GIS is the international risk management, insurance and actuarial science collegiate fraternity. The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Finals are Friday, Oct. 30, from noon-2 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Kiva.
