TAKE A SWING FOR SCHOLARS

Are you ready to take a swing for scholarships?

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is sponsoring the 24th Annual Scholarship Golf Outing on Friday, May 16, at Oak Shadows Golf Club in New Philadelphia. The four-player, 18-hole scramble registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Greens fees include lunch at the turn and steak dinner.

Registration deadline is May 9. All proceeds benefit Alumni Legacy Scholarships for deserving students at Kent State Tuscarawas.  The event is open to all.

“It’s a fun way companies and individuals can get involved to help out our students,” said Kent State Tuscarawas Dean and Chief Executive Officer Brad Bielski. “We are always striving to provide more opportunities and access for local individuals to pursue college.”

Over the past 23 years, this annual event has raised more than $100,000 and provides funds for four $1,000 Alumni Legacy Scholarships awarded yearly, sustains the Alumni Legacy Scholarship endowment fund, and supports the growth and development of the Kent State Tuscarawas Alumni Association.
