PRME 2019 North America Conference
The Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University and the College of Business Administration, Kent State University proudly co-hosted the 2019 UN PRME Chapter North America 5th Regional Meeting June 2nd - 4th, 2019. This collaboration reflected a commitment to our shared community of Northeast Ohio as we engaged students, faculty, and the business community in responsible management and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals).
The event brought together more than 70 participants from academic, non-profit, and corporate backgrounds. We hosted academic presentations as well as interactive sessions with business and social enterprise professionals focused on strengthening the economic and social impact of their organizations through examining potential partnerships with private, public, and social sector organizations. We explored the opportunities afforded by strategic partnerships and learned from each other about academic initiatives. We hope this convening has created additional momentum for partnering to accelerate the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Through our own initiatives and future collaborations, we encourage and support business to serve as a powerful force for good. In the spirit of Global Goal #17 Partnership for the Goals, we thank you for joining us in Cleveland, Ohio and look forward to future collaborations.
