Kent State University at East Liverpool recognized the academic achievements of several students during its annual Wall of Fame and Honors Banquet, while also honoring other individuals for their contributions to the campus.
They were there from the beginning of the program, as middle school students. They were directed to the Rural Scholars program because their teachers detected something special in each of them. Now, six years later, they are each ready to move onto the next phase of their lives鈥
Flash鈥檚 Food Pantry officially opened in April, serving as a resource for students on the East Liverpool Campus who may need an occasional boost with putting food on their tables.

Kent State University at Salem recognized the academic achievements of several students during its annual Student Awards Ceremony, while also honoring the service of faculty, staff and a community partner.

Dr. Craig Paulenich, professor of English at the Kent State Salem Campus, is holding a book signing and reading April 25, 6 p.m., in the Academic Learning Commons on campus.
Books will be sold, cash only, for $15 each.
Kent State University at East Liverpool officially opened its new virtual reality classroom, providing students and staff with technology that will greatly enhance learning experiences across several areas of study.
A series of photographs by Dr. Jack Vazzana, associate professor of sociology, will be featured in an exhibit at the Kent State East Liverpool Art Gallery, located in the Mary Patterson Building. Titled 鈥淕otcha,鈥 the show opens with a reception on April 11, from 3 to 5 p.m.
