Education Elevated (e2) 2025 Conference
Reimagining Engagement: Teach Efficiently, Connect Effectively

Welcome to the 7th Annual 2025 Education Elevated (e2) Conference! The conference brings together KSU faculty and staff to share knowledge, skills, and teaching strategies that elevate students’ learning through leveraging technology in service of effective teaching.
This year’s theme is Reimagining Engagement: Teach Efficiently, Connect Effectively. Our goal is to equip participants with the latest strategies and tools to make your professional lives easier. These tools may support course design, foster student connection, or engage students differently to increase engagement and improve learning.
We start the conference with our featured panel of Kent State University faculty and staff as they provide insights into educational technology, including decision-making processes, behind-the-scenes looks, use cases, and recommendations for effectively integrating technology into your courses
You then choose from 23 different presentations across three virtual rooms to fill the rest of your day. Most sessions are 25 minutes long, providing concise and impactful insights. We also have a few in-depth 50-minute sessions for a deeper dive, and less than a handful of quick 10-minute sessions for rapid learning. We organized sessions related to AI use in "Room 3" to help you engage as you wish.
We look forward to seeing you there even if its for part of the day! You can find the interactive schedule on our , which requires KSU credentials. You can click here for a PDF of the program; this PDF includes a visual of the schedule in table format and a vertical schedule that includes abstracts. Registrants will also get PDF of the schedule that includes "Join Session" links.
Recordings from (most) sessions will also be found on the conference SharePoint site following a bit of magic after the conference.

Think about proposing a session for next year's conference -
We want to learn what you do, the tried-and-true methods you use and your lessons learned from lesser useful strategies. Whether you use Canvas to support your instruction in a useful way, you're just getting started with AI, or any number of tech topics in between, we want to hear from you!
Proposal submissions only require a title and a 100-200 word abstract. We ask when you aren't available so we can best accommodate your schedule! Proposal submission deadline has passed but feel free to set-up a delayed email to yourself for next year with your title and abstract next year.
