Registration has been extended for Kent State University鈥檚 School of Journalism and Mass Communication first Kent Multimedia Workshop 鈥 a three-day, hands-on video and photography multimedia storytelling workshop 鈥 to be held June 14-16 in Franklin Hall on the Kent Campus.鈥
Six area college students were selected for scholarships in memory of longtime Akron Beacon Journal editor John S. Knight and public relations professional Ludel Sauvageot. A seventh student has received a scholarship from the Akron Press Club.
