Kent State Student Media is pleased to announce the release of the spring 2025 issues of its four student-produced magazines: A Magazine, Fusion, The Burr, and Luna Negra. The magazines hit stands across campus on April 17. This year, Student Media adopted a refreshed production model, designed to streamline and strengthen its print offerings. Emeritus Professor Martha Lash, Ph.D., Kent State School of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Studies, was presented with the 2025 CDC Humanitarian Award at the annual Robin McManus Scholarship Benefit. Sensory Swim
During this program, the leisure pool will be open to ONLY sensory swim participants. This low stimulation environment is designed to increase accessibility and cater to children with sensory sensitivities, autism, or other neurological differences. Water Safety Instructors will be present to help assist in sensory experiences to aquatic textures like water, velcro, swim caps, and more. Each day pass of $15 accounts for one adult and one swimmer for leisure pool sensory swim. Sensory Swim passes are sold weekly.
