Researchers at Kent State University are beginning the second year of their largest and most ambitious study ever to track 10,000 university students and follow them throughout their lifetimes.
The first on-campus Farmers' Market of spring arrived on Tuesday in the DI Hub.
This summer, Kent State University will host faculty from the Center for Koru Mindfulness for a at its Kent Campus. This training, which will take place from Aug. 1-3, will equip trainees with the skills that they need to teach Koru Mindfulness, an evidence-based curriculum specifically designed for emerging adults.
The 2019 Larry Pollock Kent State of Wellness Summit will take place on Wednesday, April 3, from 5-8 p.m. at the Kent Student Center Ballroom with the theme 鈥淪tate of Mind: Creating a Community of Health, Hope and Awareness.鈥
Kent State University鈥檚 strategic focus on the health and well-being of students is receiving national recognition. Active Minds, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising mental health awareness among college students, announced Kent State as a winner of the prestigious 2018 Healthy Campus Award.
