On the first really summer-like days of spring on the Kent Campus, Manchester Field becomes "Manchester Beach" as sun-starved students come out of the residence halls to take a break and soak up the sunshine.
The tradition of "Manchester Beach" goes back decades, celebrating the return of warmer days to Northeast Ohio.
