Kent State University鈥檚 fourth annual Neuroscience Symposium will cover the latest research findings on 鈥淭he Neuroscience of The Social Brain鈥 on April 7-8 at the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center located in downtown Kent, Ohio.

First floor restroom and offices duct layout is complete with HVAC piping and duct installation has begun.
Room 101 & 104 electrical rough-in is at 90% complete.
Machine Shop electric panel installed and completed on Saturday 3/19.
Room 223 electrical鈥
Work in Progress:
Steam piping in the 3rd floor east mechanical room is 20% complete.
Steam condensate lines for the steam station and AHU#1 are in progress.
Started installation of piping and duct work from AHU#2 in the 3rd floor west mechanical room to the addition has鈥
Senior Research Fellow Quan Li, Ph.D., and his research group at Kent State University鈥檚 Liquid Crystal Institute庐, in the College of Arts and Sciences, have published a research article in the March 17 issue of Nature that could lead to a variety of breakthrough device鈥

Chilled water service in the 3rd floor east mechanical room is 95% complete by EOB on 3/18. Will be ready for cooling system startup on 4/15.
Currently insulating the chilled water pipes in the 3rd floor wast mechanical room.
Steam reducing station鈥
Work in Progress:
New restroom plumbing rough-in nearly complete.
Sheet metal duct rough-in has begun on the first floor and the new restroom areas.
Electrical floor boxes are 75% complete in 223.
Sanitary drain and toilet carriers are complete in the second floor.

Kent State University Day at the Cleveland Film Festival (CIFF) is slated for April 6 at Tower City Cinemas in downtown Cleveland. Kent State is a sponsor of the festival and members of the Kent State community will receive $2 off any ticket to a film showing on that day. Kent鈥
