American Legion Ruck March 2024

IN A FLASH: A Ruck for Vets and Pets

The Ruck for Pets and Vets saw participants march with full backpacks from Downtown Kent and through the university campus to finish at Dix Stadium. Items in the backpacks, and proceeds from the event, will assist in matching veterans and first responders with companion animals.

Love in Reserve is a play written by Eric Mansfield

'Love in Reserve' Play by Eric Mansfield to Run Nov. 5-20

The Rubber City Theatre in Akron, Ohio, will host the play "Love in Reserve" by career storyteller, U.S. Army veteran, award-winning journalist and playwright Eric Mansfield. At Kent State University, many know Mansfield from his role as assistant vice president for content strategy and communications in the Division of University Communications and Marketing.
