Morgan Appointed To Officer Of The Order Of The British Empire

This Women's History Month, Kent State Today is exploring different women who have made their mark on campus. Sandra Morgan, director of strategic partnerships and outreach for the College of Arts & Sciences at Kent State University, was appointed the honor of Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) at an investiture ceremony at the British Embassy Ambassador’s Residence in Washington, D.C.

Celebrating International Women’s Day

Kent State University celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 with a poster presentation to allow international students the chance to highlight women in their home countries and a service project to aid Days for Girls.

The poster presentation was followed by a panel discussion of students, faculty and staff talking about women’s issues and successes across their globe.
