A combination of powerful art, reflective dance and historical courage are meant to connect and inspire a new generation of heroes. The art exhibition Holocaust Heroes: Fierce Females Tapestries and Sculpture by Linda Stein takes residence at Kent State this fall.

After the Rain Comes the Rainbow: Kent State at Akron Pride

After two days of heavy rains and intense winds across Northeast Ohio, the skies cleared, creating perfect weather for this year’s Akron Pride Festival, which took place on Saturday, Aug. 26, in downtown Akron. ¿ìè¶ÌÊÓƵ 35 Kent State University students, faculty, staff and alumni gathered to take part in the Akron Equity March, which kicked off this year’s events.

Once again, Kent State University has been named one of the Best Employers for Women in a nationwide ranking by Forbes and marketing research firm Statista. Kent State has been named to the list for the sixth consecutive year, having been included each year since Forbes began publishing the Best Employers for Women list in 2018.
