An abstract eye for film, creative camera work and a feminist mindset are all factors that make up Kent State alumna Ailene Joven, 鈥21. As a digital media production student, she began creating the short film 鈥淒efine鈥 during the early days of COVID-19.

As vice president for the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Brown served as a powerful voice for making sure no one in the university鈥檚 wide-reaching system was marginalized, discriminated against or left behind.
